Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from the Calcutta University Medical College, Kolkata, India. After immigrating to the United States he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University and several affiliated hospitals. That was followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Currently, he is in the private practice of cardiology in Bakersfield, CA, with an emphasis in interventional cardiology. He serves as Director of interventional cardiology and research at the Bakersfield heart Hospital.
