Dr. Kaneshiro received the B.A. from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and the M.D. from University of Hawaii, John A. Burns Medical School, Honolulu, HI. He completed an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at University Of Washington, Seattle, WA and earned a M.S. in Health Administration from the same university. Since 1995 he has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Pediatrics and 15 years later was promoted to Associate Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.

He is currently in private practice specializing in Pediatrics, Woodinville. In Washington State Dr. Kaneshiro remains active with various committees of the American Academy of Pediatrics and its local chapter.
