Bio
Dr. Banthia obtained his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA and his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He completed his internship in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian University Medical Center in New York City and his residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at several prestigious New York-area hospitals. He then trained as a fellow in facial and plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University Medical Center.
Dr. Banthia has been associated with the Stanford/ Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital as an Attending Surgeon and Staff Consultant in the department of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. While at Stanford, he was also a Clinical Team Leader in mechanical engineering and medical device design. Until recently, he was the Chief Medical Officer and founding partner of Reviance Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center in San Jose, CA. and Portland, OR. He has also trained residents and fellows in facial aesthetic surgery with Golden Gate Surgical Inc., San Mateo, CA.
Dr. Banthia is double board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
