Bio

Dr. Vollmer earned a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from the University of California at Los Angeles and a medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the same institution. She completed an internship and residency in adult psychiatry and a fellowship in child psychiatry at the Neuropsychiatric Institute of UCLA.

Since 1990, Dr. Vollmer has been in the private practice of child, adolescent and adult psychiatry and psychoanalysis in Los Angeles. She has served as a Professor both in family medicine and psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
