Bio

Dr. Sokol earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, CA, with additional training in colorectal surgery at the Carle Foundation Clinic, Champaign, IL.

Since 1986, Dr. Sokol has been in the private practice of colorectal surgery Los Angeles. He has held a variety of leadership positions, including Chief of Surgery at Midway Hospital and Century City Hospital. He is currently the Co-Director of the colon and rectal surgery residency program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
