Bio
Dr. Gerhardt earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California at San Diego, and his medical degree from Drexel University's Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in orthopedics at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles and a fellowship in sports medicine at the Sports Medicine Group in Santa Monica, CA.
Dr. Gelhardt has served as team physician for U.S. Olympic soccer team and also on several occasions for the U.S. Men’s soccer team. He is currently in private practice specializing in hip and joint disorders in Santa Monica, CA.
