Bio

Dr. Tyndall earned undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his medical degree and doctorate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Jefferson Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Tyndall completed a residency in orthopedics (and served as Chief Resident) and an internship at UMDNJ-J University Hospital in Newark, NJ and a fellowship in sports medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

In addition to his work at the University Orthopedics Center, Dr. Tyndall holds appointments at a half-dozen hospitals in Central Pennsylvania and is the Director of Sports Medicine at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.

Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Tyndall is also a member of the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has been involved or conducted at least a dozen medical studies over the course of his career.
