Dr. Taban obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California at Los Angeles and his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine. After completing his Internship in internal medicine at UC Irvine Medical Center, Orange, CA. Dr. Taban completed his residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in retinovitreous diseases at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.
Since 1993, Dr. Taban has been in the private practice of ophthalmology in Torrance, CA, with a special emphasis on the diseases of the retina and macula.
