Dr. Dresner received his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. He completed his internship in general surgery at the University of California at San Francisco and his residency in Ophthalmology at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans. He completed separate fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology and in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and at McGill University, Canada.
Dr. Dresner has been a Director of the Oculoplastic Clinic at the West Los Veterans Affairs Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was also the Co-Director of the University of Southern California oculoplastic surgery fellowship program at the Doheny Eye Institute. Currently, he is in private practice in Los Angeles.
