Bio
Dr. Taban earned a bachelor’s degree in biology summa cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles and a medical degree from the University of California at Irvine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Medical Center and a residency (including a term as Chief Resident) at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He then completed a fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery and cosmetic facial plastic surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA in Los Angeles.
Dr. Taban is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA and has an affiliation with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is currently in the private practice of ophthalmology and oculofacial plastic surgery in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, CA.
