Bio

Dr. Gershman earned his medical degree from Moscow Medical College in Moscow, Russia where he also completed an internship and residency. A research fellowship followed at the Moscow Scientific Institute of Urology before he immigrated to the United States in 1989. Dr. Gershman then completed an internship, residency and fellowshipsin surgery and urology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, both in Los Angeles.

Dr. Gershman has been actively involved in teaching and served as course director for endoscopic surgery and taught laparoscopic surgery in numerous centers around the world. He is currently in the private practice of urology in Los Angeles.
