Dr. Wachs earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA, and his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco and a residency in general surgery at the same institution and at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a residency in urologic surgery at the same institution.
Since 1982, he has been in the private practice of urology in the Los Angeles area.
