Dr. Khetan got his medical education and received his M.S. in General Surgery from Bombay University, India. After working as Clinical Assistant in Urology in LTM Medical College, Sion, Mumbai, India, he came to U.S.A. and was a Resident in Urology at University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, MN. Subsequently, he did a Fellowship in Renal Transplantation at St. Vincent Medical Center, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. and a year of Chief Residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University, Providence, RI.

Dr. Khetan has held a variety of leadership positions, including Primary Surgeon of the Renal Transplant teams for over ten years each at St. Vincent Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA and, Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego, CA. He has also been a Clinical Instructor of Urology at USC School of Medicine and was a Supervisor for Residents in Urology and Renal Transplant Fellows in St. Vincent Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA.
