Dr. Perry has had a lifelong interest in medicine. “As soon as I was able—which was during college—I became an emergency medical technician and provided care on an ambulance,” he recalls. He chose to specialize in internal medicine because he believes that developing long-term relationships with patients is a key to providing the best care. “I deeply enjoy the relationships that develop with patients, watching their health improve over time,” he says.
Dr. Perry believes that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential in attaining spiritual, mental, and physical wellness. “The best care involves a partnership,” he says. “We hope patients take the best care of themselves that they can through diet, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction. But it also takes a team of committed providers. Together we can lessen and even reverse the effects of chronic disease.”
