Dr. Obeng graduated cum laude B.S. in Chemistry from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX and received the M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical School, Galveston, TX. He completed five years of postgraduate training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the John Sealy Hospital/Shriners Hospitals for Children, University of Texas Medical School, Galveston, TX and has attended numerous advanced training courses in Microsurgical Cancer Reconstruction, Facial Rejuvenation, MicroAire Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release System, and Microsurgery. Following a 2010 Fellowship in Hand, Wrist and Microneurovascular Surgery at The Massachusetts General Hospital/Beth Israel/Deaconess Medical Center/Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, Boston, MA, Dr. Obeng attended a two week course in Breast Reconstruction at the University of Ghent, Ghent, Belgium.

He has held several academic positions in Northeast Medical University, Rootstown, Ohio and Tauro University in Vallejo, California. He has been a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Pennsylvania and Ohio and served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Elizabeth Boardman Medical Center, Boardman, OH. Currently, Dr. Obeng is in the Private Practice of Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, CA. He is the Founder and CEO of RESTORE Worldwide, Poland, Ohio.
