Bio
Dr. Davtyan studied at the Yerevan Medical Institute and at the Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. He obtained a medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles and completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He was an American Cancer Society Clinical and Research fellow in Surgical Oncology at UCLA Medical Center and a National Institutes of Health clinical and research fellow in surgical oncology at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, CA.
Over the last decade, Dr. Devtyan has attended numerous courses throughout the U.S. in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He is board certified in general surgery and bariatric surgery.
