Bio

Dr. Schwarz obtained his medical education at the Medical School of Germany in Lower Saxony and postgraduate surgical training at the department of abdominal and transplant surgery of the Medical School of Hanover, also in Germany. After immigrating to the United States, he worked initially as a research fellow in the department of pathology at the Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and completed his residency in surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute in New York City.

After practicing in affiliation with prominent hospitals in California, New Jersey and Texas, he is currently practing in Goshen, IN, in affiliation with the University Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
