Dr. Steiner earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois and his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. After an internship at the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, he completed a residency in general surgery at the Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Medical Center.
After two years of service in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, KS, where he served as Chief of Surgery, Dr. Steiner began practicing with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is currently the Co-Director of The Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center. He is also a Clinical Instructor in surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles.
