Bio
Dr. Earnest graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ceylon in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He worked in several hospitals in Sri Lanka as a medical officer before he came over to the U.S. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the Coney Island Hospital in New York City. He then worked as an Assistant Instructor in Medicine at the State University of New York. He is currently in the private practice of cardiology in Lancaster, CA.
During his career as a cardiologist, Dr. Ernest has held positions as Vice Chief of Staff at Lancaster Community Hospital and as Director of CCU/ICU at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center.
He has been passionate all his life about the game of cricket and has had the rare distinction of representing both Ceylon and United States on their national teams.
