Dr. George Eapen, M.D. Get a Second Opinion

Dr. Eapen received his medical degree from Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India and completed a rotating internship at the same institution. After working for a year as a hospital-based physician in Kerala, he moved to the U.S. and worked for six months performing cardiology research at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD before completing a year of internship at the Lutheran Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Eapen then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus, NJ. Dr. Eapen completed a cardiology fellowship at the Metropolitan Hospital, New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.

Dr. Eapen worked in the private practice of cardiology in Emporia, VA and served as Chief of Staff, Chairman of the ICU Committee, and Member of the Board of Directors of Greenville Memorial Hospital, also in Emporia. Over the last decade, Dr. Eapen has worked in the private practice of cardiology and interventional cardiology in Colonial Heights, VA.
