Dr. Brijesh M. Bhambi, M.D. Get a Second Opinion

Dr. Bhambi received his undergraduate and medical education at the Guru Nanak Dev University, Jalander, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Lincoln Medical Center, New York Medical College, NY. He was a fellow in cardiology at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. After a year of research in molecular cardiology at the University of Chicago, he was appointed as the Chief Cardiac Catheterization Fellow and Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Bhambi practices general cardiology, providing consultation and management of all cardiovascular disorders. Procedures performed include nuclear cardiac studies, coronary angiograms, and complex peripheral and coronary interventions including directional coronary atherectomy (DCA), excimer laser, and stent angioplasty. Dr. Bhambi is the Chief of Staff of the Central Cardiology Medical Clinic, Bakersfield, CA He also serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital.
