Bio
Dr. Cogert earned his bachelor's degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from University of California at Los Angeles and his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After a year of private practice in cardiology in Hawaii, he completed a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
Dr. Cogert is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and the subspecialties of echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He works in private practice in cardiology and electrophysiology in Tulsa, OK.
