Bio

Dr. Cheriparambil received his medical degree from BJ Medical College, Pune, India before completing an internship and residency at the Sassoon General Hospitals, also in Pune. Thereafter, he served as Attending Physician in various hospitals in India and as a Registrar in cardiology/internal medicine at the Central Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

In 1993, Dr. Cheriparambil moved to the United States and completed an internship, residency and served as Chief Resident in internal medicine at the New York Methodist Hospital in New York City. Thereafter, he pursued a fellowship in Cardiology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, also in New York City. Since 2000, he has been in the private practice of cardiology in Lufkin, TX. During this time he has held a variety of leadership positions, including Chief of Staff, at Memorial Medical Center, Livingston, TX.
