Dr. Goodman earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and completed his graduate education and medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. Goodman performed his internship, residency and fellowship in internal medicine and cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Goodman has been an active Attending Medical Staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 1995. Since 2003, he has also served as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine. He has had numerous articles published in the fields of cardiology and electrophysiology, and has delivered lectures and made presentations at several American and international forums. He also is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society; the American College of Cardiology; American College of Physicians; the Greater Los Angeles Electrophysiology Society; the American Medical Association; and the California Medical Association.
