Bio
Dr. Mokotoff earned his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, followed by medical school at that institution's School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at the University of California Medical Center and Veterans Administration Hospital in San Diego before completing a cardiology fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He later served as a faculty member of the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile.
Dr. Mokotoff founded the Bay Area Heart Center in St. Petersburg in 1982, where he currently practices. He holds staff appointments at five hospitals in the region. In 1989, Dr. Mokotoff was the Founding Director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg. His research has been published in Chest and the American Journal of Cardiology.
